Milpitas, CA – September 13, 2021 – Quantum3D has been awarded a new contract by Stratolaunch to train pilots in their launch vehicle for hypersonic aircraft. This contract includes the delivery of the latest IDX 90 advanced Image Generator to the Stratolaunch test and training facility in California.
IDX90 will provide cutting edge technology with state-of-the-art hardware, utilizing NVIDIA’s RTX6000 GPU and Quantum3D’s latest version 4.1.0 of the MANTIS real time scene management software. This will provide Stratolaunch with an up-to-date visual system to effectively train their pilots.
Quantum3D’s latest technology will allow Stratolaunch to train their pilots in a wide range of situations, including fault and hazard occurrences in different environmental conditions. It will also provide a platform for instrument and cockpit familiarization.
