Milpitas, CA – December 15, 2022 – Quantum3D based in Silicon Valley, CA, and Orlando, FL, a leading developer and manufacturer of real-time visual simulation systems, was selected by one of the major defense and space companies to purchase its extensive 3D model library.
Quantum3D has initially provided a couple of 3D models free of charge for evaluation and testing purposes. After successful test and evaluation results, this new customer has immediately chosen the existing Quantum3D library over developing one themselves to save time and money.
They have already started using these 3D models to design, develop and manufacture the next generation of advanced defense and space products for their customers. The Quantum3D library instantly provided a new capability and competitive edge to the customer over their competitors.
Quantum3D’s collection of real-time 3D Facets model library contains over one thousand digital models including aircraft, ground vehicles, ships, buildings, and other elements commonly used in creating virtual worlds for simulation-based training and other applications. These models are available in both a binary format optimized for use with Quantum3D’s MANTIS® Image Generation Software, as well as in an OpenFlight source format, making them useable for customization and/or for use with any commercial visual system.
Quantum3D’s real-time 3D models provide ultimate flexibility and affordability. Having been proven as real-time ready through incorporation into the most demanding visual simulation applications, 3D models offer the highest levels of realism without sacrificing real-time performance. Each of Quantum3D’s 3D models is delivered with multiple levels of detail (LOD), realistic textures, damaged/destroyed states, articulated parts, and animations.
If you do not find the model you need in our extensive library of Facets models, Quantum3D can build and customize any 3D model for you based on your needs.
