Quantum3D to Demonstrate Turnkey Mixed Reality Simulation System and VTOL UAV at HAI Heli-Expo 2022

Visit Quantum3D at HAI Heli-Expo from March 7-10, 2022 at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas – Booth #6223.

Quantum3D Highlights New Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) and Mixed Reality Simulator as part of its growing collection of Simulation Systems and other high-tech products for commercial and military customers.

Milpitas, CA – March 4, 2022 – Quantum3D Inc., based in Silicon Valley, CA and Orlando, FL, is a leading developer and manufacturer of real-time visual simulation systems. The company announced that it will be exhibiting at HAI Heli-Expo 2022, the world’s largest trade show and exposition dedicated to vertical aviation from March 7 to 10, 2022 at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas – Booth #6223.

Quantum3D will introduce a new VTOL UAV System at the show. Quantum3D’s QUAV is a Sub-Cloud Autonomous UAV that can perform joint operations with all unmanned systems with its vertical landing and take-off capability, fully autonomous mission capability, modular architecture that allows the integration of different payloads, and many more superior features. QUAV is capable of missions up to 15,000 ft, 6 hours of flight time, and 50 miles range.

It has a wide range of applications such as tracking, detection and area protection, coastal and border security, environmental pollution detection, residential thermal measurement, narcotic plant detection, forest fire management, post-disaster assessment, agricultural applications, aerial mapping, and many more.

Quantum3D will also display a new Mixed Reality Simulator and visitors will be able to have a combination of the virtual and real world experience by flying over the San Francisco Bay Area. This new immersive technology can be integrated with all kinds of military and civilian aircrafts in the market. With this system, Varjo XR-3 eye-limiting resolution headsets are integrated with Quantum3D’s Independence IDX image generator and Quantum3D’s award-winning MANTIS image generation software. VR capabilities allow the pilot to see the virtual world, and MR/AR capabilities allow them to see the real world (hands and cockpit).

Quantum3D’s state-of-the-art and affordable Mixed Reality Simulator eliminates the need for expensive multi-channel dome display systems while maintaining full 360-degree visuals with 90 fps for the trainee pilot. This can substantially reduce the physical footprint of the simulator, the initial purchase cost, and ongoing maintenance costs.
