Are you taking advantage of perks provided by CDB fully implemented in MANTIS?
Milpitas, CA – Nov. 28, 2018 – Quantum3D, Inc is excited to announce the full implementation of Common Database (CDB) format terrains running natively on the MANTIS® suite of real-time Image Generation software.
CDB enables the creation and modification of run-time databases within minutes or hours instead of weeks or months. CDB also ensures unity and correlation between the various simulation subsystems. This support empowers users the freedom and flexibility to upgrade to a fully COTS compliant Image Generator without the expense and burden of rebuilding their visual database.
“With the addition of CDB, MANTIS remains the most capable and flexible Image Generation Software available today,” said Clayton Conrad, President and CEO, Quantum3D. “Our users can now upgrade to a modern visual platform as part of our Simulator Modernization Program without the cost of rebuilding their visual database.”
Not only does MANTIS have native CDB support, but it also includes a new StaticModels plugin that provides a mechanism to efficiently populate the terrain with a set of modelled features. MANTIS NG also includes watercraft capability added to its Autonomous Traffic plug-in. The CDB capability will be sold as an option to MANTIS. CDB has become an official standard adopted by the Open Geospatial Consortium, www.opengeospatial.org/standards/cdb.
Quantum3D is also building specified CDB databases for its customers. Let this Silicon Valley company enhance your interoperable training and mission rehearsal capabilities while reducing development time. Contact the Quantum3D’s Sales Team for more information at sales@quantum3d.com.
