Quantum3D and Norxe Announce Advanced 8K/240Hz Projection Integration for Next-Generation Simulation at I/ITSEC 2025
Silicon Valley, CA , Orlando, FL and Fredrikstad, Norway – November 25, 2025 – Quantum3D, a leader in real-time visual simulation technologies, and Norxe AS, a premier manufacturer of high-performance simulation projectors, are pleased to announce a new integrated capability that significantly elevates the performance and realism of advanced training and simulation systems.
Quantum3D’s MANTIS® Image Generator software now provides full native support for Norxe’s P55 and P60 projectors, enabling 8K resolution output at 240Hz through Norxe’s 4-way n-shift technology. This enhancement allows four 4K @60Hz Mantis channels to drive a single projector, delivering unmatched image clarity and eliminating motion blur or double-imaging artifacts. Together, Quantum3D technology and Norxe technology are pushing the boundaries of visual simulation systems, setting a new benchmark for fidelity and performance.
MANTIS® offers multiple 240Hz processing modes—including interpolation for maximum accuracy, extrapolation for reduced latency, and a hybrid mode that balances both—ensuring optimal performance even when the simulation host operates at a traditional 60Hz.
The integration also includes full support for Norxe’s optional dedicated IR channel, enabling true NVG stimulation. Users can dynamically switch between 120Hz NVG operation and 240Hz daylight modes for seamless training across environments.
Quantum3D’s MANTIS® and Independence® IDX image generator family power simulators worldwide for defense, aerospace, commercial aviation, UAS/UAM/eVTOL, and space programs. The new Norxe integration is available to new and existing MANTIS® and/or other IG customers; upgrade guidance and validation support are provided.
