At AWE USA, visitors will have the opportunity to see Quantum3D’s Mixed Reality Flight Simulator System integrated with the Redbird TD2 Simulator. This system combines Varjo XR-3 eye-limiting resolution headsets, Quantum3D’s MANTIS® software, and the Independence IDX image generator. It offers an immersive experience and can be integrated with various military and civilian aircraft available in the market. Attendees can experience a live demo of these products at Booth 1047, where they can fly over the San Francisco Bay area.
Quantum3D’s Mixed Reality Flight Simulator offers an affordable alternative to traditional multi-channel dome display systems. Despite its affordability, it provides trainee pilots with full 360-degree visuals at a smooth frame rate of 90 fps. By eliminating the need for expensive dome displays, this simulator significantly reduces the physical space required, initial purchase costs, and ongoing maintenance expenses. The integration of VR capabilities enables pilots to see the virtual world, while MR/AR capabilities allow them to maintain visibility of the real world, including their hands and the cockpit. This combination of technologies enhances the training experience and situational awareness of pilots.
At the Show, visitors can also witness Quantum3D’s eVTOL UAV/UAS simulator demo. This simulator is based on a real ground control station (GCS) and can simulate a generic or specific UAV aerodynamic model integrated with sensors and camera systems. It is an affordable training solution tailored for aspiring drone/UAV pilots seeking Part 107 certification. With this simulator, trainees can develop their skills and gain practical experience in a safe and controlled environment. Designed for portability, the system can be easily deployed worldwide or set up in different environments.
At the exhibition, attendees will also have access to information regarding Quantum3D’s military-grade Virtual Reality (VR) Parachute Simulator. This VR system allows trainees to experience the sensation of skydiving and practice essential skills without the need for actual physical jumps. Users wear a VR headset and engage in a virtual world that simulates the freefall and parachute deployment process. The simulator can simulate different weather conditions, parachute types, and landing scenarios, providing a comprehensive training experience for skydivers and paratroopers.
