Milpitas, CA – March 30, 2022 – Quantum3D, based in Silicon Valley, CA, and Orlando, FL, a leading developer, and manufacturer of real-time visual simulation systems, has completed an Image Generator System Project for Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI).
Quantum3D delivered the system for the company’s new generation fighter aircraft training simulator on schedule despite the pandemic restrictions.
This Turnkey Image Generation system included setting up IG with integration to the projector, developing an extensive site acceptance test, and working remotely with the company to run this test for the system. In addition to the Image Generator, Quantum3D developed the entirety of Korea inside our CDB Worldwide Database (WWDB) for the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) training. The Quantum3D team also performed database training to the KAI developers so they can add their content within Korea when needed.
The state-of-the-art hardware, combined with the latest performance enhancements to the MANTIS image generator software will result in an IG capable of driving 4K resolution projectors with 16x antialiasing. This leads to a generation of extremely realistic training environments with minimum distracting aliasing artifacts.
